"Welcome Hjem" is a traditional 3 bedroom log cabin with rustic charm and the style and comfort of an exclusive private home. The Nordic word "Hjem" meaning home, is a nod to our rich history and a reminder that Viking raiders once holidayed in Northumberland too! You'll often hear locals use the same pronunciation today. Welcome Home!
The Property
We are situated in a quiet cul-de-sac on Felmoor Holiday Park.Stepping into the property you will find a spacious open plan dining / kitchen / sitting area. The contemporary kitchen is well equipped with all appliances you could wish for during your stay. This includes a fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven and gas hob.The living room consists of two 3 seater sofas and additional seating, with a modern Smart TV. Additional home comforts include Netflix, Amazon Prime Movies and Wi-Fi.There are 3 large bedrooms; two twin rooms and one king-size room. All bedrooms are furnished, with wardrobes and additional seating. All bed linen and towels are provided.
The bathroom consist of WC, basin, heated towel rail and a large rain shower room.
To the front of the lodge is a large terrace with rattan furniture and table which comfortably sits 6. Our driveway is suitable for 2 large cars.
The terrace stretches to the side of the property, complete with a large deluxe hot tub that accommodates up to 6 people.The lodge is heated throughout via underfloor heating too, making it perfect all year round for those mini breaks away.
Location
Felmoor Park is located just south of Felton in the heart of Northumberland. We're ideally placed for those looking to explore Northumberland. We have nearby golf courses, walking trails, cycle routes and even the Northumberland Zoo.

From our log cabin in Northumberland you can easily access the coast, where you will find many popular towns and villages, including Seahouses. Here you can test out your swing at the excellent golf club with a view, spend a day at the beach, or catch a boat to the wildlife rich National Trust – Farne Islands. Next stop is Bamburgh, home to an impressive castle which has featured in many movies, the RNLI Grace Darling Museum, the historic Bamburgh Lighthouse, and a good selection of pubs and restaurants serving fresh seafood. Continue your coastal adventure at Holy Island, where you can hike along St Oswald’s Way, visit the fascinating Lindisfarne Castle, and an idyllic harbour.
